In this discussion, Dr Mirvat Alasnag (The King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah, SA) is joined by Dr Nosheen Reza (University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, US) and Dr Farshad Forouzandeh (Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Parma, OH, US) to talk about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on practice and training based on their review papers in US Cardiology Review.

Dr Reza elaborates on how COVID-19 has impacted medical education and highlights some of the adaptations and considerations for the future. Dr Forouzandeh summarises some of the key points from his review on Door-to-Balloon Time for STEMIs in COVID-19 Era reviewing the latest evidence and strategies to address D2B time in the contemporary era.
